Authentication & access
Administrative areas of the site are protected behind authenticated sign-in. Role-based access controls restrict private functions (such as reviewing sell submissions) to authorised staff only.
Data we collect
We only collect information you choose to provide — for example when you submit a watch enquiry, request a valuation, or contact us by email or WhatsApp. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Storage & encryption
Submissions and uploaded photographs are stored in a private cloud bucket, accessible only to authorised Essex Timepieces staff. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Subprocessors
Our website is hosted on the Lovable platform and uses Supabase for database, authentication, and storage. Live precious-metal prices are sourced from public market data feeds.
